Finding A Home For Charlie!

Hi everyone! I am Roxy! :D

This is my mom’s photography blog. Today I am going to change it up a bit and ask for some help from all of her friends and followers. I asked my sister Muffy to help me too but turns out she is too lazy. My sister Muffy below……..

And she wonders why she is FAT!!! Anyway, the reason I am here is because my mom has signed up with Pup Squad to be a Holiday Hero! Together as a family, we are working hard to try to find Charlie a home by Christmas. Meet Charlie……..

Sweet Charlie is about 2 years old and he has been in foster care for a while because he was very shy. Well I know why he is shy!!! It’s because he is probably scared he will never find a home! I have been told Charlie’s foster mom as been working with him a lot on being shy and he has made wonderful progress in his foster home. He loves other dogs, big, small, even fat like my sister Muffy :) and has a very gentle spirit. Charlie can still be a little shy from time to time but does well with children and people of all sorts! Someone give this guy some love and stability! Charlie weighs about 60 lbs full-grown. He is fully house trained (apparently people love this) and has passed the puppy chewing/destructive phase. He is neutered, heartworm negative and fully vaccinated. This nice guy is ready to go! :D Here are a couple more pictures of Charlie!

My mom has a huge heart for us dogs but she says her pockets are not deep enough to take us all in. Something about we are renters, Muffy and I eating way too many bones, and how both mine and Muffy’s haircuts are way more expensive there her’s! (You can’t trust just anyone with your hair) But I appreciate what she does for my kind. She got me from a breeder who said me, my brothers and sisters were “accidents” and needed to get rid of us. She got Muffy from a shelter that was going to put her to sleep because she had heartworms and “no one would want her!” Me personally, I am not a fan of my sister but my parents love her so ehhhh….I deal!

I ask that you please take the time to pass this blog post on to your family, friends, co-workers, etc. You might not be interested and your friends may not be interested BUT their friends just might be looking for a sweet guy like Charlie. Please contact my mom directly at jaclyn@jnicoleimages.com if you would like to adopt him! It would make her day! And if you tell her you saw Charlie off of this blog post I made she will probably give me an extra bone!! :D

P.S. Don’t tell my mom I called my sister fat twice….she might not give me the extra bone if she finds out about it. Take care and remember us dogs appreciate the good things people do for us! We return the favor with tons of love and kisses!

Bringing in the holiday cheer with the Huang Family!

Welcome! This post has taken me awhile to complete. I will admit it though…………..I have been pinning on Pinterest way too much lately. It is such a sick addiction but oh so wonderful. My husband often tells me things like “I’m not pinterested in what you are doing” OR “Hmm….that seems pinteresting!”  Funny huh….but also a little sad! LOL

Any who….Tonight I bring to you the lovely Huang family. These are great friends of ours and we love them dearly! Luckily for me I get to do yearly holiday photos of them and this time around we have a new member of the family! Always fun with these guys. Enough talking and more browsing…take a look and enjoy! :)

The boys……………..

And the best for last….Their 2011 Holiday Card! Hope their families put this on the refrigerator! :D

My Boy Blue Turns 9!

Hello World! This is Mikey. He is nine years old, can you believe it?! Cute little guy huh? I think he gets his good looks from his aunt…..and that would be me! :D

Anyway, I get to do photos of my boy blue every year for his bday. He was not too jazzed about it this time around….He is at that age when front teeth fall out! He is looking at it all wrong. Falling out teeth means money under the pillow. I’ve even tried to pull some of my teeth out just recently! Turns out my husband is not up for paying me for them :( A girl can try….

Enough about me here is Mikey boy! We had fun and I only wanted to put him in a choke hold once! Enjoy and remember folks, the weather is starting to cool down so now is the time to book your shoots for the holidays or just because. Time is going to fly by…promise ;) And my baby boy is growing so my belly is only getting bigger. Take care and God bless!

Then I give the boy an inch…………and he produces this….

Then he tries to turn male model on me so I made him sign a contract….I own him now! ;)

Til next time…………

Luke & Levi…AKA Mac & Cheese! :)

Good morning! Today I bring you two adorable little guys, Luke & Levi. They are the new addition to a close friends family! There is not really much for me to say here other than how cute they are and that is self-explanatory.

Enjoy and somebody……bring me more babies! I love photographing babies! :)

This one cracks me up!

“Wait….did you say I could do that when I am this many?”

They were having a good time…….promise! :)

And my favorite!

Our Boudoir with a twist!

Hi everyone! For this posting I bring you the ever so lovely Amanda. She is a great friend and we go way back. We use to dance together back in the day..oh the good times! Anyway, we wanted to do a boudoir shoot but not so traditional. Amanda is a huge lover of fashion, like me :) , and she has the closest to prove it! Me….not so much! We decided to go with a more suggestive approach versus straight under clothes. At the end of the day, it was about making a woman feel beautiful and that she definitely is!

These first two are probably two of my favorites! :) Thanks for stopping by and let me know what you think!

Next on the blog will be an adorable set of twin boys!! Yaaaayyyy!!

Giddy Up! – The Equestrian Shoot

Welcome back! I’ve been busy but glad to finally get this posted! I did a shoot two weeks ago for RHC Equestrian showcasing their new English and Western show shirts! We always have fun with these. Yeah it was in the triple digits outside but that is how we roll! Or at least that is what I say to make me feel better!

Of course I am always blessed enough to have a wonderful team to work with. Dorothy and Elise from Your Makeup Expert were on set doing hair, makeup and styling! They are good at everything! :) Irena, my lovely assistant for the day, busted her bum for me and I greatly appreciated it! All we asked was to pass a Sonic on the way home for Fountain Favorite Happy Hour. NOT EVEN ONE! Grrr…. We had two lovely models, Abbey and Katie, who both did a fantastic job. And finally…we were so lucky to have Peacock Stables let us use their location! Lily was so sweet to us and they had such a wonderful facility!

Any who, here is a little bit of what we did! Enjoy! :)

Thanks for stopping by! I have some awesome shoots coming up in the next several weeks. Can’t wait to share them. Until next time, take care! :)

Welcoming Spencer!!

Hello all! Today I bring you the ever so cute and cuddly Spencer. This little guy was born a few weeks ago. Just two days before my birthday! I think it is because he wants us to one day throw birthday parties together.

Say hello to this precious boy! He is the new guy in town! :)

And let’s not forget Big Brother Oliver! He insisted on getting a dramatic shot for his portfolio ;) He always delivers!

Here’s to you Sal!

Geez……It’s been forever! The husband and I are moving so I have lost track of many things these past few weeks! Did you miss me? Aww….That is so sweet! If not, then why are you here now? :::Scratches Head:::

Enough about me, meet Sal! I did a quick mini session with him a few weeks ago! Funny guy once he gave in and had a little fun with the whole senior photos experience! Congrats to you on your graduation and good luck in everything you do!!

Did I mention he has a sense of humor???

Thanks for stopping by! Next up to bat will be little Spencer! :)

Little Miss Sunshine

As always, welcome back! Today I bring you Little Miss Sunshine, Jacey. One of the easiest little ones I have ever worked with. Sure I called her mom ahead of time and found out things she liked. That being said…… A string of pearls, some daisies and a lollipop later we had a succesful shoot! :) I was super excited because she was the first youngster to bite into and actually eat the lollipop….SUCCESS!!

Anyway, on to what you came to this blog for…photos! What a cutie pie this gal is! :)

For the Fun & Fashion Forward Bride: Part II

Me again, welcome back! What did you think about Elise in part I? She is pretty awesome isn’t she?!

Part II is with Ms. Abbey. We used the same two dresses and got two totally different looks! Abbey ended up delivering the classic beautiful bride look as well as a nice mix of couture/vintage. LOVED the hair she was rockin!! Abbey, you did a wonderful job, thank you! :)

I would like to thank the same wonderful folks from part I: My mom, the assistant, Dorothy Strouhal of Your Makeup Expert for always creating awesome hair & makeup looks and Parvani Vida for providing the gorgeous dress!! I was so scared it would get dirty and Dorothy and I would soon own a 7k wedding dress! Being that we are both married, not a good investment for us! ;) Oh and thank you Ebay for helping me find a 1920′s dress halfway across the country.

As always, your feedback is always welcome. Coming up in a few weeks or so I will have a shoot with a precious little baby boy I cannot wait to photograph and in about a month….. baby Huang! I won’t say his name yet in case it isn’t final. :::::::excited face::::::: Until next time, enjoy Ms. Abbey, she is a doll!

Oh, I almost forgot…. contact me so I can do a shoot for you….yeah, I’m talking to you! ;)
